We have heard from a lot of you lately who are wrestling with some big and small questions around relationships and money,

specifically questions around fairness, competing priorities, how to share your money in a way that works for both you and your partner.

We wanted to dive in and tackle some of them today because this is such an important topic.

According to the American Psychological Association's most recent stress in America report,

66% of adults say that money is a significant source of stress in their lives.

And within that group, 55% say that money is a source of fights or tension in their family.

And even if those money fights aren't something that you find yourself battling often,

research from the American Institute of CPAs shows seven and ten couples have had some sort of financial disagreement with their partner just in the last year.

In other words, money can all too easily be that thing that keeps us awake at night with worry,

but it can also be a source of empowerment and joy.
