How has it been so far for you?

Yeah, it's been great.

I think in the pod at the start of the week, I made the point that I was really looking forward to this, having seen the golf course.

And, you know,

it's nice to have had that sense of anticipation fulfilled. I think it's been a fantastic first couple of days, so many different storylines, a brilliant leaderboard, a fantastic

golf course that I think has been set up really, really well. And you're not going to like

this after the weather you've had in Trune this week, Andrew. You know. And you're not going to like this after the weather

these events and they put up on the board weather advisory, you think, oh no, storms, you know,

rumbling in, we're going to have delays. Well, there's been a weather advisory up all afternoon

here in the media centre at

Pinehurst and it just says, extreme heat today, please take precautions and drink plenty of water.

Yes. So I've drunk plenty of water. It has been a really, really hot day. But I think the action has been, if I may say, red hot as well. You may say that. Take precautions, drink water, travel to Trun and you will cool down. I mean, extraordinary. I know we're talking to US Open, but Ian, the rough at Trun is going to be extraordinary for next month. Is it? Oh, yeah. I mean, it's so, so thick already. And the forecast is, I was speaking speaking to the head greenkeeper Billy McLaugh and he was saying he wants a bit more rain just to keep it that way. He doesn't want to break up with the sun and it's not going to happen over the next two weeks certainly. It's still going to get plenty of rain. So I cannot see it being anything other than juicy. It's just off the fairway. There's incredible thick stuff. So anyway, that's for another day, but I love
