0:30.2	years, I've been a guest on so many podcast shows and radio shows, and one of my absolute favorites
0:36.5	was a podcast called Ignorance Was Bliss.
0:40.6	It's hosted by the incredibly skilled interviewer, a creative storyteller, and the ever-curious
0:47.2	Kate Willenga. Sadly, Kate battled incredible health challenges since well before our first connection back in 2022.
0:56.5	She sadly passed away at the young age of 46 this year on February 10, 2024.
1:04.5	Ever since, I've been thinking about how best to pay tribute to her, so I reached out to her husband,
1:10.2	Willem, to ask if I could share
1:11.6	this episode and her voice on the podcasts that I host. I'm so glad that he said yes.
1:19.0	You see, for me, Kate was an inspiration. She was so many things to so many people. She was a
1:25.7	devoted mother, a beloved wife, a committed storyteller,
1:30.4	and a compassionate clinician. She shared her life through her podcast, which she got started back in
1:37.5	2018 and kept running up until the very end. Her last episode was published in January 2024, just weeks before she
1:47.2	passed. She was transparent with her journey. She said the good, the bad, the sad. In her time
1:54.7	podcasting, she recorded and released a total of 498 episodes with well over one million listens overall. And with her show,
2:04.8	she collected and shares stories that explore how we each become who we are on a fundamental level.
2:13.2	I truly loved my time with her. She inspired me to share more than I typically do.
