All right, we are back with William Muma to talk a little bit more about Nomes.

We've got a Nome in the party, and I think Nomes have a really interesting backstory

in this particular setting, and it's not one that we get to

highlight because we're in the wrong place. This campaign setting and the modules

that accompany it span continents. There are all sorts of different

snapshots of the world that you get if you buy the

supplementary role-playing modules that come with the setting. And unfortunately, gnomes just don't get touched on in this one but I really liked them so I'd like you to talk a little bit more about them give people a peak of what might be coming up in their discovery of this world.

Nomes do actually get a little bit more of a picture developed in the second module of

the series, Vassalise Woe.

The Nomes are not in the Land of Teardrail, which is where

Feisthol of Ash takes place, but they live in a dark and foreboding land called

the Isian Peninsula. And these gnomes used to in the past be a very happy, very playful, very farm-oriented sort of people. However, a curse was laid upon them. They had

insulted some priests of one of the dark gods of the Isian Peninsula who then

began to send off Doppelganger, shape changers, all sorts of creatures

to terrorize and basically wipe out the nomish population.

Now the the gnomes in order to survive have

become a little bit on the paranoid side

but they do now hide in the in the dark crevices of the world. They test their own mortality by showing the
