Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Domato, your Game Master.

I want to start off by apologizing that the introduction to today's episode is going to be a little bit longer than usual.

If you want to pass over me gushing thank you so you can just skip ahead a little bit less than five minutes.

Heroes, I've been doing this show for well over a year now and nobody involved in it could have

possibly anticipated how big the show was going to get.

I am constantly overwhelmed by the appreciation and support that we receive from our fans.

Whether it's fan art, fan fiction, or just letters and tweets of people writing in

to let me know that the show is important to them.

But even with all of that, nothing could have prepared me for the response that we receive to our Patreon campaign.

These days, it is incredibly difficult to make a living in entertainment.

It doesn't matter if you're a musician, a comedian,

or even a game designer.

And while the internet provides ample opportunity

for people to engage with their passion, most of the time it makes it almost impossible

for them to make a living from it, at least in a traditional way.

Before I started one shot, my comedy career was basically over. I had spent thousands of dollars on an education in Second City and I.
