I love to do these live sessions because it's a way we can really connect and really interact and kind of have that

back and forth, which is hard to do here on the podcast. I love building community with you,

and I love the topics we're able to take on here. I love it when I can have guests on here.

We can have real conversations. But really, there's nothing quite like being able to just sit down

with a group of girlfriends and talk about the things that are on your mind, things that are on your heart.

Last night, I collected some questions from the participants ahead of time, and we talked about a lot of different things.

We talked about navigating family conflicts, especially when you have faith differences, how to handle those kinds of tricky situations, tricky communications, even with young adult

children that you might have. Also, dealing with religious questions from extended family,

how to grow in community at your parish or challenges that you might face in trying to

connect with a new community. Also, we talked about Botox. We talked about our culture's unnatural

beauty standards, whether or not Botox is a sin, and how we can better model a sense of self-acceptance

in our culture today as Catholic women, but also be putting our best face forward, literally

speaking, and really just being a good model of

living out in authentic Catholic faith life. We also talked about being kind to ourselves,

the importance of doing that, making exercise, a regular part of your day and accountability

with that. And then finally, we talked about Exodus 90 program. There was one person who was asking about her husband's participation in an Exodus 90 program in her community.

And she was feeling a little bit challenged by that.

So we discussed that program as well.

So really, these sessions are about anything that's on your mind, anything that's on your heart.
