For anyone who has been following us since our 2017 beginnings, you would know that podcast hosts Stephanie and Olivia are based on opposite sides of the world. Stephanie is in New York and Olivia is in Australia.

We have always done the podcast remotely and never met in person. Until now!

Stephanie got married in a beautiful ceremony in upstate New York in early June and Olivia was able to make the trip to join in the celebrations.

In this highly requested bonus episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss meeting for the first time and our New York adventures!

We will be back with our usual crime episode later this week – scheduled to be released 12am EST Thursday.

0:21.5	and Olivia. This is going to be a fun little highly anticipated bonus episode. So if you're
0:29.9	here for the crime, this isn't it. This one, yeah. Turn it off now. Just turn it off now before you
0:36.3	get angry. This one we are going to talk about my wedding and Olivia's big trip to New York and
0:44.3	meeting and all of that because a lot of people are dying to know and they said they want to know all
0:49.7	the details. So we're going to get into all that and this little bonus episode and then I'll try to
0:55.1	put this episode out maybe a couple days earlier. We'll see if I get it done. My life's been a little
1:00.7	tumultuous lately. Pluto is throwing everyone into chaos. Oh my god. I've had enough of Pluto. I plan it.
1:10.8	So yeah, I'm going to try to get this one out earlier than the regular episode. If not, I guess
1:14.5	I'll put it down the same day. But then I thought that might be like too much for everyone to handle.
1:18.5	That was like too confusing. Yeah. So I'll try to put this one out first. I don't think I'll have to
1:23.2	edit it a ton because not if there's clips or anything. So hopefully I'll get it out early.
1:29.6	So I guess we'll just get into it because we'll save our usual updates for the real episode.
1:37.1	So we'll start with you traveling. So first, for Olivia to get to me, she has to fly to
1:44.2	LA. Yeah. And it's fun. LA to New York. It's funny because if you had more conveniently for me,
1:49.9	been married at the end of June, they actually have started doing direct flights from Sydney to
1:54.4	New York. But at that point, I couldn't do direct. So from Sydney, you can either fly. I think the
2:00.7	three main places you can fly in America, San Fran LA or Dallas, they're the kind of direct flight.
2:07.7	So I got a relatively cheap flight to LA and then from there, I had to fly to New York. So I think
2:13.0	the flight to LA was around 13 hours. And that's a really hard flight going over because you
2:19.5	leave Sydney. I think it's like 10 o'clock in the morning. But then when you arrive in time,
2:24.3	well, you go back in time. So then you arrive in LA at seven o'clock the same morning. So I left
