0:58.3	dealing with parents of minors who are transitioning in terms of their gender. This is a state
1:06.1	senator in the state of California and he does what you would not necessarily expect a state senator to do.
1:12.6	He actually urges parents to leave the state.
1:16.4	He says that he's been a state senator for 11 years in California and his entire lifetime.
1:23.2	Born and raised in the state of California, he has always urged people to stay and fight the good
1:27.3	fight, but that he himself, when he finishes his term, he plans to leave, and he's encouraging
1:32.6	parents to do the same. He said that it's not worth staying and fighting any longer, but the best
1:38.1	thing that you can do for the sake of the protection of your children is that if you are a parent
1:43.8	with Christian orthodoxy,
1:46.7	with conservative traditional values,
1:50.7	then the best thing that you can do for your children is leave.
