0:12.4	pleased to be hosting this show in social distance mode from my improvised home
0:18.7	studio. Welcome back to All My Relations. This podcast is usually co-hosted with
0:26.0	Dr. Adrienne Keane but unfortunately she isn't able to join us today. I am very
0:31.6	much looking forward to her return for all of us returning together that is in
0:37.3	general because right now I'm spearheading this episode solo alone at home
0:44.1	in quarantine.
0:47.3	Here's the deal. I felt like there was an urgent need to put this episode
0:58.0	together mostly because there's not accurate representation or enough
1:04.3	representation of what's happening with pandemic in Native America. I myself
1:09.8	have only seen a couple of articles that have been released. I know that there
1:14.2	are a large majority of organizations that have put things up on their
1:18.3	website and that people are talking on social media but I got to tell you I
1:22.5	don't turn on NBC and hear people talking about what's happening at IHS
1:26.3	Clinics in Native America. So I felt like this had to be done and I felt like it
1:31.3	had to be done because as of this morning a lot of people have passed away
1:36.3	including people in my own community here in Tulaylap on the rez and I think
1:44.1	that we need some real information about what's happening in our communities.
1:49.2	So I started thinking to myself who do we want to hear from? How are our
1:54.6	communities being taken care of? How can we come together to take care of one
1:58.9	another? And so I got on the ringer and I started calling the folks that I
