Hello, Improvised Star Trek listeners. This week we have what we hope is a very special treat for you.

It's a live show that we performed at NerdCon Stories last weekend. Normally when we do a live show,

it's like a live play and we're on stage moving around, but this time we decided to do something

a little bit different and we did a live podcast. So it's exactly the same format that we do when

we're recording the podcast, including a couple of warm-up scenes that we took from audience

suggestions via Twitter at the time. But one addition to the normal podcast is that Dan Granada was

performing the sound effects live. So he's queuing up sound effects, soundtrack, score, scene

transition, all that stuff as we're improvising. So he's improvising along with us. And you're going

to hear his voice as well. So just wanted to point out the amazing work that Dan Granada does

for us in live shows that you guys as podcast listeners may not always get a chance to really appreciate.

The name of this episode is Bowl of Soup, which was a kind of inside joke for the attendees of

NerdCon, so you're going to hear them react to that title.

Also want to let you know that this Sunday, there will be another full-length episode,

so you're going to get three episodes this month, And next week's is going to be a little bit spooky Halloween-themed.
