Two double murders within a five-year time frame.

The first in 2008 and the second in 2013 would have police in Omaha, Nebraska wondering

if they had a serial killer on their hands.

The only real link was each victim's affiliation with Creighton University in Omaha and a former

medical resident there named Anthony Garcia.

Years later and hours away in Chicago, Illinois, criminal defense attorney Bob Mata would

receive a message in the middle of the night from Garcia's family requesting legal representation.

And the years that followed would be a series of bizarre rabbit holes and one of the most

exhausting and interesting trials in Nebraska history.

Today I talk with Bob Mata about the Anthony Garcia case, podcasting, mental health and
