Hey friends I have an exciting bonus episode for you here today. I want to introduce you

to my favorite person in all the world. This is my wife Mindy. Hello everybody. Mindy and

I have been doing a fun little project together and it's for you Christian parents. Let me

see your hands out there. I'll all of you raise your hand. Mindy and I have been doing

a podcast called God Fearing Kids and the parents who raised them. Mindy why don't you

say a bit about why we named the podcast the way we did. It's because the Lord has shown

us the foundational mindset that we ourselves have learned as believers is the fear of the Lord.

And we realize that that's how he guided us to guide our children and so we thought that

seems to be the most important thing so we wanted to name it that. So just to give you

a little bit of an idea what's different about our podcast. I mean because there's a lot

of parenting podcasts out there. We are trying to approach this both from an experiential

basis you know our experience with five kids who are all adults now but also with a focus

on scripture and a focus on the wisdom of God being applied both through our experiences

and through the things we've seen God do just out of the blue in the lives of our kids.

It says we just wrap up this little promo for the podcast Mindy. I'd love to you just

tell us what is your hope for this podcast? What do you hope listeners would receive from

listening? My hope our hope is that parents listening would be encouraged and also that

they would come to know the heart of their Heavenly Father as they learn to be a father

and a mother to their own children because we know that our Heavenly Father looks at our

heart. It doesn't look at the outward appearance and so we as Christian parents want to get

to our children's heart and when we can train our children to love and fear the Lord that

means we're getting to their heart and so we want our listeners to have hope that they're
