Hi everybody. Welcome to Mormonish. I'm Rebecca. And I'm Landon. And we have an absolutely incredible, wonderful guest today. We have the

amazing Bill Reel with us today. Welcome, Bill. How are you guys doing? Doing great. We are good. How are you,

Landon? Are you feeling good today? Yeah, yeah. I'm excited to talk to Bill. This is Bill Rill's one of the

top people in post-Mormon world, I think, that most people are really excited to talk to Bill today.

That's right. I'm excited to spend time with you guys. It's going to be great. So I think we'll start out like we usually do on Mormonish and we'll read a little bio for our guest, although I feel like maybe he doesn't need any

introduction, but let's do it anyway in case there's maybe like one person out there who doesn't

know who Bill realist. So Land is going to go ahead and do that. Well, it'll be a short bio

because he doesn't need much of an introduction. Exactly, exactly. So Bill was raised in Ohio,

and he was a 17-year-old convert to the church, and he became a bishop at the age 29.

He and his wife, Amanda, have been married 25 years.

They have four children and three grandkids.

They live in Washington, Utah, a beautiful place near St. George.

Bill's the founder and executive director of Mormon

Discussions, Inc., which has been producing Mormon-related podcasts for over a decade. So he's got a lot of

people under his umbrella and a lot of podcasters that he's found and brought up. So I think everyone

has probably seen Mormonism live. RFM came under his umbrella. There's quite a few backyard professors under his umbrella. So, yeah, a lot of people that have come under there. Yeah, no. Thank you for reading that, Landon. That's wonderful. And that's what you were kind of laughing about when we knew you were going to come on because we were like, oh, my gosh, you do so much. You have so many passion projects. You're involved in so many things. You have so many people that you co-host with or that you are on their programs. And we're like, what in the world can we, you know, how can we win all this down? What we're going to talk to Bill about. And so, of course, I reached out,

as you said to RFM. And I said, we're having Bill on it. It's so exciting. What do you think we should talk about for several hours? And he said, well, you should talk about RFM, of course. That sounds like Radio Free Mormon. Doesn't it? Yeah. So I thought, you know, I'm not sure. Sorry, RFM, if we're going to do that.

I mean, you may come up naturally in the conversation, but probably we're not going to spend the whole two hours talking about you. But thank you very much for the suggestion. I'll try to mention them a couple times. Let's try. It'll be like a drinking game. Every time we say them, we'll lift our cup and that'll do it. So, no, we're just so excited to get to know you more and just talk about some different things. And we had sort of a wonderful conversation early this morning, trying to put some things in place about where, you know, what direction our conversation might go. And as I thought about, you know, what I just said, just all the wonderful things that Bill

is involved in and the things that he has put into place and into motion for people in the

post-Mormon world. I mean, you could make this lengthy list. And I started thinking of Thrive,

which we attended last month. And I know that Bill is always extremely involved in Thrive and
