| 0:00.0 | Hi everyone. This is a special bonus episode. This is the third in our series where we are coming to you in real time to talk about the coronavirus epidemic and the lockdown that we are experiencing. We are both on stay at home orders. And now this is what? We're in our third week. No, second week of stay-at-home. |
| 0:22.8 | I can't remember. Yes. Today is my 13th day. It's the 13th day. Isolation. |
| 0:28.3 | It is Wednesday, March 25th for everyone who's listening. We will likely be releasing this tomorrow. |
| 0:35.2 | So you'll be listening. So we are usually delayed, as people know, and we're |
| 0:38.9 | keeping our podcast, the main episodes, more evergreen, talking just sort of about our general |
| 0:45.4 | lives and trying to keep it a little bit of COVID-free, of a COVID-free space. Yeah. So, but here is where |
| 0:54.0 | we talk about all the stuff that's going on |
| 0:55.7 | while we're on quarantine. So, Shauna, what have you been doing in this crazy, crazy world we've |
| 1:01.4 | been living in? Oh my God. Who even knows? Minutes are blending into hours, which are blending |
| 1:07.6 | into days. I mean, it all just feels like this one amorphous, |
| 1:12.1 | like fluidity ocean of time. I don't know. It's very weird. And I'm trying to find ways to |
| 1:18.2 | create distinction in my days. Like, the day doesn't start until I brush my teeth and put it on a |
| 1:23.2 | bra. And, you know, like, I've got to do something. Yeah. yeah concrete to kind of start the day I saw something |
| 1:30.3 | that someone posted like a funny meme recently it was like oh it's nine o'clock p.m. Time to change |
| 1:35.5 | out of my daytime pajamas and into my nighttime pajamas yeah totally kind of like well kind of I mean I |
| 1:41.5 | don't straight up wear pajamas but I'm fully wearing pajama pants right now. I usually go. Yeah, comfier pants for sure. Comfy pants. I feel like both of us have a lot of experience working from home. So I think we've both learned that the pajama days are fun at first and then they start to make you feel very like schlubby and like |
| 2:05.6 | oh so groggy and schlubby yeah what do i like what does steve and i call it slunchy we just made up a |
| 2:13.1 | word it's like god i feel like a slunch um so very very slunch. I'm definitely trying to overcome that twice this |
| 2:21.1 | week. I just, first thing in the morning, I took a shower. I even like dried my hair. I put on some |
| 2:26.3 | makeup. Some of my meetings are over Zoom and stuff. And I'm like, well, I'll just like look more |
| 2:31.8 | presentable. And it just felt better. It felt better to put on an outfit I liked and just have a little makeup and not feel like I look like a walking zombie all the time. So that has helped me. Yeah, I haven't gotten to the makeup lengths yet. But I also don't usually wear makeup. So. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, then no need to gussy up. |
| 2:52.6 | Not gussie up. The other thing I was going to mention is, well, first of all, since we last reported, |
