him control over his entire life well beyond his finances.

thanks for coming on the show and for telling us a little bit about your a little

bit about your story so Matt's featured in the in the upcoming book

aptly titled you need a budget and Matt just kind of give the

listeners maybe just a super brief bio on who you are and then

tell us you know the backstory kind of lay the groundwork for the story.

Yeah sure so Matt Ritchie I have kind of a technical role myself so I work for a remote software company similar

one you know different function but similar style to wind up and yeah so I've lived in

New York for seven years came down here for grad school.

And I thought I was pretty sophisticated with money, right?

I think you played the 0% game and you kind of shuffle cards around and you think you're

doing financially responsible things.

And I didn't really think that I wasn't really looking for a solution,
