entrepreneur. What I want to talk about today is the six ways to build a business that can survive

anything. Okay, I want you to be able can survive anything.

Okay, I want you to be able to survive anything.

And as somebody who has started more than 20 companies over the last 25 years,

one of my most successful companies right now, I started in April before 9-11.

So when 9-11 happened, I literally thought like, you know, this is crazy.

The world's never going to be the same again. And when you watch two twin towers come down and and all that happened on that given day, you can understand my concern because that was my first

full-scale, big business. And that was just a crazy time. And I've learned how to survive.

2008 economic collapse owning a company within that involved homes and upgrades to homes. And we had millions in that. I had a huge real estate deal at the time and how you had to navigate during that

because it was a completely economic collapse.

And then obviously this coronavirus, which is a whole different scale of how to do business

because it's changed everything.

So how do you build a business that can survive anything? First, you recognize that survival is not guaranteed. I think that's a

huge mistake the business owners make. They somehow just assume their business will be around

a year from now. Well, I've been in business the last

10 years. Well, again, going through the three events that I shared with you, what you really

need to ask is, you know, what can put you out of business? But just don't make the assumption.

There's countless stalwart companies that are in bankruptcy right now.

I mean, you look at Hertz, it's been around over 100 years, the car rental company.
