I hope that you had a relaxing and sonorous holiday and that your 2023 is off to a swinging

start.

No, not that kind of swinging, the rhythmic kind of swinging.

I am currently taking a pause from new full length episodes of Strong Songs as I work

on some creative musical projects and recharge my jets, but I'm going to be running things

in the main feed nonetheless in the meantime.

Some new stuff like interviews, bonus episodes, whatever really strikes my fans, see whatever

I'm feeling like making, but also every other week I'm going to be re-running all episodes

of the show in the main feed.

This is the first one of those, it seemed like a good way to kick off the new year.

This was originally the eighth episode of Strong Songs and it is about Queen and Freddie

Mercury's through composed Rock Extravaganza Bohemian Rhapsody.

I've gone through the episode and done some tweaking and editing, nothing major, I've

just run my voice through some tastier EQ and compression, adjusted the mix in places

and relaxed the flow a bit in others, just in terms of some minor edits to the voice

over.

Of course, you will hear some preamble about how the show was doing four years ago in

2019.

Some of that will be out of date, I will refer to some things that no longer exist, newsletter

that I'm now hosting at a different site, that kind of thing, but I'm just going to leave
