Thank you so much for allowing me to lead you through this meditation today.

Today we'll be doing a body scan.

We can begin by finding some stillness, either a seat or a laying position and allowing yourself to relax.

allowing the eyes to gently close and focusing on your breath, breathing in through the nose, breathing out.

And as you breathe in, focus on the word peace.

Breathing in peace. Exhaling peace. doing a few more breaths like that of your own breathing in peace

and exhaling peace allowing the gentle sounds that surround you to simply exist.

And if your attention gets caught in them, bringing it back to your inhale, which is peace and your exhale of peace.

Thank you. Now bring your awareness to your entire body.

Notice any sensations that come up, any areas that feel tension,

and sending a little extra breath there. Bringing your attention to your feet.

Noticing the sensation when you allow your awareness to focus on a single point.

Now bringing your awareness to your shins and your calves,

almost as if a calming sensation is crawling up your body.

And that awareness is now moving up to your knees and your thighs

inviting the lower half of your body to relax.

Now your awareness comes up to your stomach. And up to your chest.
