It was New Year's Eve, 2023, and 39-year-old Anna Walsh seemed to be in a great mood.

Anna was an attractive, super-bright mother of three little boys.

She had a great career in real estate.

She'd actually just started a new job.

In February of 2022, she became a regional manager at Tishman Spire in Washington, D.C.

Anna had done some smart investing over the years, and her net worth, at least on paper, was in the seven figures.

She had bought a $1.3 million townhouse near her new job.

And she had been married to her husband, 47-year-old Brian Walsh,

for seven years. According to friends and family, her husband seemed to adore her. Anna and Brian

were living in a beautiful rental house in a little seaside town of Cohasset, Massachusetts.

On New Year's Eve, she and Brian invited their close friend,

Jim, over. Jim was actually on his former boss when she worked at a small real estate group

called the Moodlew Group. Jim told WBTV, a local news station, later, that there was zero

indication there was anything wrong that night. Brian cooked a big meal,

and Anna was in a celebratory mood. Jim said, quote, she was texting with friends. She was

sitting next to me at the bar stool in their kitchen. There was absolutely no indication that any

modicum of a tragedy of disappearance or anything else could have happened that night.
