I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashfin, and today we are discussing Bodies, Bodies, from 2022.

Directed by Helena Rain, written by Sarah De Lapp, and Kristen Rupinian, starring Amanda La Stenberg, Maria Bacalova, Rachel Sennett, and

Pete Davidson. In this film, Old Friends Reunite for a hurricane party that goes awry when one of them

is mysteriously killed.

If you're new to the show, we're going to be talking about this movie without spoiling anything

for the first 15 or 20 minutes. At that point, we'll play a little bit of transition music,

take a quick break, and then come back and spoil stuff. So once you hear that transition music,

it's time to

duck out and go see the movie because we'll be spoiling things. It's in theaters now. This is a

murder mystery and a black comedy. Another one from May 24, buddy, they're putting out a lot this

year. They are. Do you feel like they've switched up their vibe of it this year, just going off

of like this film and X? Do you feel like they're lighting up their vibe a bit this year just going off of like this film and

X um do you feel like they're they're lighting up a little bit I think you know I mentioned it

in another episode that they've had light movies dabbled throughout their filmography but

it does feel like a concentration of lighter films all in a row yeah like this

year yeah or maybe if not in a row all packed into a short space you know you had men was i think men

was pretty typical a 24 fodder yeah and uh the kronenberg one, that wasn't them, right?

I don't think that was A-24.

Yeah, okay, cool.

But yeah, they did X, they did men, they did... What else?
