And one thing I've noticed in the years that I've worked this is nobody hates a Bob White

Quail. You know, I have yet to meet that person and it's an easy sell you know when we go to these

different agencies and and folks will look at you and go you're working with the

Forestry Commission on Bob White Quill and we go, yeah, I'm pretty proud of that.

I did a fall covey count last Friday on the local national military park.

You know, it's a federal park service.

That morning we had biologists from a federal park service. That morning we had biologists from the Federal Park Service,

a South Carolina Forestry Commission,

South Carolina Park Service,

and then DNR and you're thinking,

this is the weirdest group of guys to ever get up and listen for birds but it works

most maybe in the long run this is one of the most interesting things about projects like the

quail initiative is how much we learn about

our place in this world.
