I heard a story about Elon Musk.

And he was late on delivering one of the Tesla models.

And somebody asked him about this, like, okay, so why were you late?

And he says to the person, well,

I've never done this before. Like I, like how was I supposed to know? Like what we do is we,

we set a deadline, we set a goal, and sometimes you hit it and sometimes you don't, because

again, we've never done this before. And so if you're setting goals, hopefully it's a goal that you've never accomplished before

because you want to stretch yourself.

You want to give yourself a deadline just to create some urgency, right?

Just so you'll have something to focus on.

I've got to get it done by this day.

But a lot of us, if we don't hit the's deadline, we get down ourselves.
