Listen, bit of bad news.

The introduction, this bit, has been cancelled after last week's debacle.

We got a record number of complaints, which when you consider some of the old Defending and Defence Awards, is quite something.

Saying things like half-baked, ill-conceived, why would Jamie Rednapp have been slating, fighting, talking even if he was,

why would Big Angeby responding on the show's behalf? Make it make sense. These complaints were then escalated up at the BBC until eventually the head of sport listened. This guy, not afraid

to make changes or swing the axe, and he has swung the axe. In a note to the producer, he said,

if you can't come up with anything decent to say

or even be bothered to rehearse it, then I'm afraid I cannot allow this to continue.

And the sad thing is, he really does have a point. So we get straight into it this week.
