We get into Gunther and his earning of the title shot against Cody Rhodes from Smackdown.

Goonther gets to win over Royce Keith for the number one contendership against Cody Rhodes.

So a fun little segment there to set that up, I think, when Goonther came out

and he's doing this whole delay and, you know, kind of some gamesmanship with Cody Rhodes.

And Roy's Keys comes out and says, yo, if you're not going to sign this contract, I'm going to

sign the contract. So they're fighting over the pen. Nick Aldus comes out, says, we've got a real

dilemma here, Goonther, you kind of gave up your spot. You're going to have to earn it now.

You're going to have to go against Roy's Keys. Whoever wins this is going to face Cody Rhodes.

And of course, Goonther goes on to win the match and will face Cody Rhodes, which was kind of

inevitable, but a good spot to put

Roy's keys in, I think, a nice elevation for him in the moment. And I really like the addition

of Gunther to Smackdown. I like Gunther and Cody Rhodes. That feels like a big time match to

me. It finally feels like a real payoff for Gunther after

John Cena. This guy retired John Cena and he's sort of been toiling away since then.

It's time. You know, go for the title. Hell, put the title on the ring general. Put the title on

Gunther. That's what I say. Take it off, Cody. Put it on Gunther.

Let's rock with that. Because when you retire John Cena, you got to go to the next level.

That's, you know, that's putting somebody over. That's the whole point. Put them over on your way

out. And it wasn't for us to be wondering who the hell Goonther would be facing at

WrestleMania.
