drums? No, no way. There's two totally different worlds. And I also think that it has nothing to do.

There's no similarities. A lot of people are like, oh, you must have been a great DJ because you're

a good drummer. And it's just like, no, it's a machine. A turntable is a machine. It's like,

you know, you move your finger a little bit and you have the whole thing's messed up so it's all it's more about like the mechanics of it all and of course reading reading the crowd and knowing what to play

and what not to play and but I mean that's partially like coming from your background as a

musician or it's a similar skill set in a way right yeah no it's not I'm sorry it

isn't it just it isn't yeah it's if there's, it's, if there's nothing, I just, I just, I just, I don't, there's two completely separate things, totally. So, in fact, I think the best musicians, I mean, the best DJs are non-musicians because they're fans, they're super fans, they're people who don't, my favorite DJs are guys that are just they're just insatiable music

fans where they they don't dwell on one thing too much you know what I mean like they

don't sink their teeth in anything because they're already like that's great I need this

now I need that and this stuff like their mind is going a million miles a minute so it's like

they're just did you feel yourself drifting in that direction when you were... No, that's why I was a terrible DJ.

Well, you must have been good enough if you were working six weeks.

Yeah, but all right six nights a week, that doesn't mean that every... all six nights were

like these awesome. Like one was... didn't pay anything not top 40 but like very like jiggy

like R&B you had to be super on top

but I had to listen to Hot 97
