Tell me about Edy and the Eggs.

Well, E.D., that was, we're fast forward in here, and that was sort of like when I,

when I moved out of my parents' house, I was, I think of like 20, and I moved out of my, uh, parents' house, I was, I think of like 20.

And I moved in an area in Baltimore called Fells Point, which was super funky and really cool

and full of characters from the neighborhood that, well, that were just crazy and wonderful and

very colorful.

And John Waters would sort of put up flyers all around.

If you wanted to come to be in his movies, show up here at this time,

wherever the day was and the date and the place and the time.

And anyway, Eadie, one of his major stars, obviously, she had a thrift store shop on, on Broadway, which was in Fells Point. I lived

right up the street. Um, I rented an apartment right up the street in Fells Point. So I would go

down and see her quite a bit. I'd just stop in the store and say, hey, Edie, how you doing?

She'd be like, oh, Gina, how you know, I'm putting together a punk rock band.

You want to be in it?

And I was like, sure, Eadie.

Were you into punk rock at the time?

Oh, yeah.

Oh, sure, man.

I was in a band. I was in like Baltimore's first new wave

punk rock band called Scratch and Sniff. And actually, our manager was a girl named Chris Mason
