is the first orbital rocket that the Blue Origin, Jeff Basis Company, has been trying to build and launch for 20 plus years.

A little background. Blue Origin was formed almost the same day as

SpaceX. SpaceX now has landed. I'm not talking about launching. It's now landed more than 300 first stages. That's more than almost any rocket has been launched.

Blue origin hasn't yet gotten New Glen off the ground. It's just's just took forever and in fact there was almost a five year delay

it's almost five years behind schedule partly because of problems with its BE4 engine that uses in its first stage and probably because the former

CEO of Blue Origin that Bezos hired to run the company, slow walked everything for five years. He's gone now and the company is

done to come back to life. So that's the history of New Glen. Well finally it

appears we have a launch date for New Glen. NASA has a payload on this first launch of New Glen. It's a science

experimental platform satellite project.

And so they were giving a presentation about what NASA is going to do on this and the guy who gave the presentation

flipped out that they are planning a, that New Glen is planned for September 29th launch later this year.

Now there have been a lot of rumors and hints that they were going to try to launch in the second half of this year,

but this is the first time we have an actual date.
