What have you made of the race so far?

Is it a contest that is more about character assassinations than it is policy platform?

I have to say I've been very disappointed

by the quality of the conversation so far. The Conservatives are in a big old mess right now.

They're the party supposedly devoted to small government lower taxes. They've ended up delivering

the exact opposite and they're not sure why. Now, I've been listening to

all of the various pitches. It's very easy for them to say we want lower taxes. Of course, that was

Boris Johnson's problem. He wanted lower taxes too. His journalistic spirit, it was willing,

but the governmental flesh proved weak. Now, we need somebody who's going to be able to deliver on

that. And none of the

explanations have struck me as being particularly convincing. What these Tories are very good at is
