And also joining to the podcast for the first time is Polygons Phil Kohler. Hello. Thank you for having me. Wow. So big week, Bloodborne is officially out. This podcast will be entirely about BloodBorn. We'll be

breaking it down in a lot of details. We'll be including user feedback. So let's get started right

now. So the first thing I want to say is I am completely blown away by the response that Bloodborn has gotten.

I mean, I shouldn't be surprised that given the kind of love that has been shown,

Dark Souls for quite a while now, but I just want to rewind time really quickly to, I'd say,

2010, or it was either 2009 or 2010, when Demon Souls originally came out.

And I hate being a kind of a Souls game hipster, but I was very much on board with that game

right away.

But I remember that nobody wanted to review it.

Ray Barnhold over at OneUp was the only one who showed any interest in it.

I just randomly took it home one day and went, wow, this is actually really good.

I really love the combat.

It feels terrific.

But when I talked to other journalists about it and other reviewers, they were like, it's buggy,
