United at the weekend, but we're going to focus on something slightly

different on this But for this week's Blood Red Club podcast, we're going to take a look at Leighton Clarkson,

who's followed Harvey Elliot's lead in heading on a season long loan to Blackburn Rovers.

Blood Rede podcast. How are things going for you?

Yeah, thank you for having me on again.

It feels a while since it's joined in.

It was probably a Harvey Elliott update last time,

but yeah, not too bad.

Blackburn have been going steady. It was a bit of a blip recently, but they returned

to winning ways on Saturday. They were only a point outside the playoffs and once again, the

championship's proven to be an unpredictable mistress so it's good fun at the minute

Yeah, I was going to actually contextualize that the conversation around late in in terms of

you know sort of how Blackburn are getting on I know they're sort of mid table at the moment just behind Neil Crichley's Blackpool actually I think at the moment in the championship table has it been the start to the season that you thought it would be

a day in about the right place do you think or is it maybe being a little bit more

tough than you thought? I think prior to the season it was very doom and glue there were a lot of people connected with the club who were quite pessimistic about the chances I think supporters were

yeah sort of expecting just to sort of stay clear of relegation would have been a success this season. I think in many supporters eyes,
