And with that, we are just five days away from another Liverpool game.

Before we get into the next stretch of Red's fixtures though, we are going to talk about a bit of Liverpool news that came out this weekend about Virgil Van Dyke.

Gosti, you know, you can probably tell me more.

Yes, so Virgil Van Dyke, there was some suggestions over the weekend that he'd signed and sealed a new six year deal earlier this week.

So it was that, I think the story broke on Saturday night.

It was on, got in on Sunday, checked a couple of things out, one or two.

Spoke to one or two people and found that that isn't particularly the case at this stage.

The pool, I've got no imminent plans to talk to him about a new deal. He signed a

a five year deal in January 2018 with an additional one year of both parties agreed to it and that is basically as the situation

stands. Apparently the player himself was a little bit confused and been used

about the reports that came out and basically it is as it stands.
