Okay, so obviously we are talking about Imani Khalif and all of the gender panic surrounding this athlete.

The phrase that came to mind for me when all of this blew up was concern trolling.

This is classic concern trolling.

And kind of like our opener alludes to, like we're supposed to believe that this is a substantive issue for you because you care so deeply about checks, notes, women's sports.

It's so obviously a cover for something else.

And I think in this particular instance, that is incredibly obvious because Imani Khalif is a cisgender woman.

Yeah, and I think we will link this in the notes, but there is a lot of information that is circulating

that's just untrue, as is usually the case, with trans conversations. And in particular, I've

seen a lot of people talking about this failed gender

test that no one seems to have access to right now and it is just like patently bullshit and I don't

even want to take too much time to go into it because that would legitimize it but it's just bullshit.

I mean I think so it sounds like the controversy it started, and I think the reason that the quote

unquote test in question is important is because it's what is being pointed to as legitimizing

proof of these claims. And I was curious about it. So I looked into it to be like, where did

this even come from? And the organization that is

responsible for producing this test, the International Boxing Association, it has since been banned,

like since the, you know, the test happened for a lack of transparency. And what's been really
