Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.

A man laying from birth was being carried, whom people placed daily at the gate of the temple called Beautiful to ask Alm from those who entered

the temple.

Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms.

Peter gazing at him with John said, look at us.

And so he paid attention to them expecting to receive something from them.

And then Peter said, I have no silver and gold, but I give you what I have.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

And he took the man by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were strengthened.

Jumping up, he stood and walked and entered the temple with them walking and jumping and

praising God.

Hallelujah to the Lamb of God.

We're speaking today from the subject simply blessed interruptions.

Blessed interruptions. Blessed interruptions. It is interesting here that Peter and John are on their way to the temple at the hour of prayer, which was roughly three o'clock in the afternoon.

They're rushing the prayer meeting and overlooking a man in front of the temple who needed prayer.

Isn't that interested?

They're already almost like running late for service.

And now somebody is out there needing prayer, delaying them even further, asking alms of them.

And sometimes people are asking things because they're trying to get an immediate need that

doesn't fix the long-term problem.
