Life is full of trials. God does not promise us a problem-free life,

but he does promise us to work everything out for our good if we love him.

God allows us to go through difficult times because they make us depend more upon him.

So when things aren't going our way, trust the Lord. He is good all the time and he will

ultimately work things out better than we can even imagine.

Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Man, I had a hard time learning how to trust Dave and there was nothing about him

that you'd make me not trust him but because I'd been hurt so

much I didn't trust anybody and I especially didn't trust a man and I remember when

God was dealing with me about trusting Dave because he said to me one time why do you always act like I'm your enemy?

See I felt like I was do something somebody owed me, but I was trying to make him pay for what he had

nothing to do with. You need to be careful you're not doing that in your own life trying to make somebody else pay because I'll tell you the only one that can pay you is God.

Nobody else can pay you back but God.

You can't even collect from the person that hurts you but God can pay you back and he will but only if you do things the way God wants you to do them.

There's a big if here. If every person in this room

every single one of you you have got the most glorious future laid out in front of you.

But don't think for one minute that it's just going to magically happen all along the way God's going to speak things to you to do, things not to do,

and if you'll be obedient, man you're going to see some stuff that's just going to knock your socks off.

But it's up to us.

Are we going to keep doing what we want to do?
