Life is full of trials. God does not promise us a problem-free life,

but he does promise us to work everything out for our good if we love him.

God allows us to go through difficult times because they make us depend more upon him.

So when things aren't going our way, trust the Lord. He is good all the time and he will

ultimately work things out better than we can even imagine.

Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

And then 1st Peter 1, 6 and 7, says you should be exceedingly glad on account of these trials though now for a little

while a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations for a little while and you know

really two and a half months a long time but in the whole scope of things it is just a little while

Even a year is just a little while and one of the things you can tell yourself is this is only going to last a little while

It's you can tell yourself is this is only last a little while.

This is gonna end well. It's gonna be okay.

God's gonna work good out of this.

Now, if we handle our troubles with a good attitude,

we will be blessed in the messes that we're in. We talk about poor old Job.

Well let me tell you something, poor old Job didn't end up so bad. Job 4210 and the Lord turned the captivity of Job and

restored his fortunes, uh oh when he prayed for his friends and if you don't know the story of Job, his friends did not

treat him right while he was in the pain that he was in.
