Today, we're going to start off today by kind of revisiting what was the major topic in in last week's podcast which

is which is polling and then we're going to get into yesterday yesterday was this kind of funny news cycle because it was it was the first time in

a while where Donald Trump was kind of back on his heels on multiple things you

know whether it was like you you know, kind of teasing

banning contraception or the third right, you know, just, you know, kind of

covering covering all the bases. So we're gonna to get into that. We're going to get into

Sam Alito and the Trump trial and a few basic things. But I wanted to come back

to what was, you know, in some ways this was the, this was the sort of centerpiece of last week's pod, the question about polling, methodologies, freakouts, and everything.

And I think we covered sort of,

we covered a lot of that ground.

But since we talked last there was there was an Ezra Klein

column that was it's funny because you know, Ezra kind of brought together before to the

state of the Union, sort of the high Baroque phase of the Biden dementia Thunderdome,

discourse, right, the peak of it. And you know, got all sorts of attention

and in the way that only the New York Times can.

And he kind of came back to that. and in the way that only the New York Times can.

And he kind of came back to that earlier this week or over the weekend

with this kind of what I thought at least was kind of like a primal scream, kind of a kind of like a primal scream kind of a kind of a kind of opinion piece you know, sort of everybody's got, everybody's kind of, you know, on edge

about this election for obvious reasons and there's all these different things you can you can be worried about if you're

a worrying type of person but a column that sort of, as we see sometimes, takes the author's inner angst and repackages it as analysis, when in fact it's really it's really

the inner angst. But it seemed like we were kind of back to, you know, back to the, back to, back to that polling thing. Are we going to replace Biden? Is it, is it, is it, is it, is it,
