Up first is James Blackman last week after we recorded Brennan Sonone of Nolstu 47 put out a report that Blackman was had filled out paperwork. I believe to go into the transfer portal and then on Saturday or Sunday or maybe Monday. He had reported that Blackman had spoken with the staff and things had gone in the positive way.

He was in the positive direction and that he was not going to go into the portal. They have two business days to put your name into the portal per NCAA rule.

So technically if you count that as Friday and then Monday was a federal holiday, which we'll get to in a little bit by the way, I guess today, Tuesday would be that day.

But it sounds like he's not going to go in there. Of course other people said he was never going to go in there. I believe Brennan.

I believe he was reporting. I know he's a good dude who does good reporting and occasionally we've had sources clash, but in this case, I do believe him. I think he has somebody very close to the Blackman situation.

Ultimately, I think that's probably a very good thing for four states that Blackman has apparently decided to not go through with entering the portal.

Not sitting up in a real positive situation with your quarterback depth and that would have been just another significant significant issue.

There are those of us. I'm among them that still has very strong doubts as to whether or not DeAndre Francois is involved with the team in a formal matter in 2019.

And potential of losing Blackman only kind of created a absolute worst case scenario for a situation, a position group that is.

Had some had some pretty dire situations in the past couple of years. So good that that got straightened out. I personally.

Absolutely believe the validity and accuracy of that report. And nonetheless, it's.

It's probably better for everybody that identifies themselves as a Florida state fan that you're not having one of your only two quarterbacks.

Maybe one of your only one quarterback that'll be on the roster in 2019 looking at other options.

If if nothing else, just for the. Just for the message that sends and the way it kind of shapes up as we move into off season workouts and start to get ready for spring.
