Summary

We are taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming this week to respond to current events and unpack our thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement as well as JK Rowling's transphobic twitter tirade. In the second half of the show, we discuss some YA book recommendations to uplift voices of BIPOC as well as LGBTQ+ people. This is by no means an exhaustive list, just some of our personal favorites. We are not experts, but we want to do what we can with our privilege to be better allies.
