Hello everyone and welcome to episode 2002 of maximum film and I'm so excited to jump

into this with my friends because as you know I talk about movies in the booth with my friends and let me introduce you to the Ams.

First up we have the Christmas Zaddy himself and now that I'm not in the f state, I know we are deep in Christmas in July.

For some reason at the beginning of July, I said that we were exiting it.

Oh, I'll tell you, what's good is some of the Emmy nominations.

Most notably Bowen Yang for SNL,

M.J. Rodriguez for Pose,

everything involving hacks.

But I gotta say, for all the effort

that Amazon put into getting nominations for the boys,

I was really crushed to see that none of the actors from the Underground Railroad were nominated

and that there were exactly zero nominations for small acts, which listeners will recall we devoted two whole weeks to.

Nothing, Nada, zip, zero.

So I'm all the more thrilled that L.A. Film Critics gave it Best Picture this year for all the people

who complained at us that we gave best picture to a TV show because the
