Summary

After relocating from Oklahoma City to small-town Mustang, a family thought they’d found peace in a quiet three-bedroom home. Instead, they uncovered a nightmare: religious icons that refused to stay upright, paparazzi-bright flashes during sleep-paralysis, a doppelgänger folding laundry, and a sinister frontier-era stranger who urged a preschooler to murder. 0:30.5	Hey guys. It's me, Alexis, again. I have just called and left you my family's background story and a tiny little story from my childhood.
0:41.0	But now I thought I'd share with you what I considered to be the worst thing that has ever happened to me and my immediate family.
0:50.7	So it started out that we had moved from our house, which was in Oklahoma City, and wanted to be closer to my stepdad's mother so that my mom would have more access to help during the day with my two siblings and just a generally better school system than Oklahoma City is.
1:15.6	So we moved to Mustang, Oklahoma, which for me who had grown up in the city my whole life was a shock
1:26.6	because we moved to Mustang and this was probably 13 years ago
1:33.8	so there was literally like houses and a 7-Eleven and a Walmart and that was it nothing to do
1:41.7	for a teenager at the time.
1:45.0	But, you know, we lived in a nicer house than we lived in in the city, so I was okay with
1:51.0	it because honestly I was always an introvert and it's not like I really went out much
1:55.0	anyways.
1:56.0	But the house seemed normal enough. Just a nice three-bedroom house.
2:05.1	And then things started to happen almost immediately after we moved in.
2:11.1	The first thing that really should have been a big sign for us when my mom had this,
2:20.6	I don't know how to really describe it other than it would be like a, like how a folder opens and closes, but it was wood, and on the inside it had a
2:26.2	picture of Mary on one side and a picture of Jesus on the other side. And she had gone to
2:33.0	put it up on our mantel piece, and she would put it up there,
2:37.8	and then we would leave for a little bit and come back, and it would be on the ground closed.

2:44.5	You know, you just chalk it up to, okay, maybe the house is a little on level. Maybe the mantle just isn't quite even.
