1:07.9	I'm your host Jay Jones, and I want to thank you for joining us today for another
1:11.7	great show. Today I'm going to actually do something a little bit different. I'm going solo
1:18.2	today and there's pretty much two reasons why. I want to talk to you about perception
1:24.2	and action. Now today is Wednesday, November 26th, and this is two days after the
1:32.3	Michael Brown, Ferguson, Missouri jury decided not to indict the police officer that killed Michael Brown.
1:40.5	And one of the things that I was thinking about was the perception and the perception of
1:46.7	Michael Brown played an integral part in his murder and also the officer getting off
1:54.0	and not being indicted because it's the perception that America has of the African American male and female.
2:03.1	And so today we're going to talk about perception and also action as it pertains to
2:09.0	entrepreneurship.
2:10.7	But I wanted to tie the two in because you see the media images, you know, of us, we're
2:17.4	looking like thugs. A lot of us are looking like goons
2:21.6	we're looking like uh hoochies out there on the street and that's unfortunate because that's only
2:28.1	a small segment of the black community okay but those images are perpetuated by media.
