They do today. But I think today, more than ever, we have to worry about adversarial operations

that could take down networks or interfere with networks or spoof networks or inject false

information into those networks. So using cryptographic tools like zero knowledge proofs are just fundamental for sharing

information because finance runs the world and Bitcoin pioneered and opened the door for

all kinds of like massive digital financial innovations that are happening now, that we need to

link this ultimately to real human beings in real countries that are subject to actual

laws. What's going on, guys? Today we've got a great episode, Rob Viglione. He is the founder of Horizon

Labs, and he's also the founder of ZK Verify. In this conversation, we are going to talk about

something that is very important. It's a piece of technology that is imperative for U.S. national security. We know we're going into a digital world and there's everything from

artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and much more. But we need to be able to pass information

between all these machines without actually revealing the information. That's where something

called zero knowledge proofs comes into. This is something you've probably heard about, but nobody actually knows what is it? How does it work? And why is it so important for U.S. national security? Well, I went and I found Rob, and Rob's got a great understanding of the technology. They've been building a ton of this, and he also happens to have been an intelligence officer in the military. He was in Afghanistan when he realized the value of Bitcoin,

and he's got a ton of stories and understanding of where the world is going
