So I did some hosting earlier in the week, and I feel less obligation to be, to any degree, motivating or hyping for this crowd and this discussion tonight.

But it doesn't mean I lack enthusiasm.

I've been a huge fan of Jordan Peterson for a long time, and he's been instrumental in helping me grapple with the deeper elements of Bitcoin and value and meaning and how that's all wrapped up together. And of course, the same is true for Rob. And it's my honor to introduce the person that's going to come out, warm you guys up,

and entertain you prior to that.

And this is a person who, Jordan Peterson talks about the Joker archetype a lot.

And this is the person that through comedy gets away with saying the things that most of us can't say out loud.

We can't say them to our social groups.

We can't say them to our family groups. We can't say them to our

family. So we rely on the court jester to say that shit. And that's the person that can say anything

they want to the king and he won't be killed for it. And this is a tremendously valuable role in the

world that we live in today because there's so much censorship, there's so much bullshit, there's

so much insanity, there's so much canceling, there's so much deplatforming, that we need

someone that can stand up and say, this is bullshit, but doing it a way that sneaks under

the surface, where you're not going to be deep platform for saying that. And, you know, the other

element of the Joker that's so important

and so therapeutic for us is like we all, I think, appreciate at least to some degree how fucking

insane clown world is right now. Hopefully we're approaching peak Fiat. Yeah. Yeah.

And it can be maddening, right?
