Hey, everybody. This is a very special edition episode of the What Is Money Show. What We are doing today is

today is re-airing an interview I did with James Davidson. James is the co-author of a very important book. You've

probably heard me reference titled The Sovereign Individual. Again, a quick overview on

the sovereign individual. Written in 1997, it explores an esoteric topic called The Logic of Violence.

It goes into the discussion of megapolitics and megapolitical variables.

These are factors such as climate, microbiology, technology, topography that actually shape human socioeconomic organization

in more fundamental ways than politics themselves, hence the term mega politics.

There is a long literature on this, but it is not widely understood in the world today,

like many of many of the other esoteric topics we cover on

the show, like Austrian economics, et cetera.

So this conversation was originally held on Real Vision, and Real Vision has been so

kind to let me re-air it on my channel.

And I, you know, I think this is a very interesting conversation with a very intelligent

guy.

A couple of things about the book, you know, again, written in 1997, it predicted phenomenon

in the digital age, such as social media, which it called narrowcasting instead of broadcasting.

It identified the emergence of anonymous digital cybercash, which today we call cryptocurrency or crypto assets or Bitcoin,

and made a number of other startling predictions that we are seeing to come true as the digital

age, or rather this true as the digital age,

or rather this transition into the digital age really accelerates.
