Today it is my privilege to introduce the author of a brand new book, right now as we speak. It's coming out in

July of 2024 on the demonic. Father Dave Thomasy welcome to our show.

And you're welcome, but thank you for writing this book.

Fulton Sheen, really on the demonic. Tell us a little background about how

this book came to be and why you wrote it. Yeah, so back in 2016 I was working on my thesis,

you know, getting my STL and I was working on Fulton Sheen because I love Fulton

Sheen. I've, you know, I've gone through so much of his stuff. He's been a real inspiration to me.

So I was rereading those mysterious priests from 1974, which is a great book.

It's what 11 or 12 years after his first book on the priesthood, it's the second book on the priesthood,

it's just five years before he died and he has about two pages on the demonic and he says

I shall treat the demonic in another book like I'm gonna write a book on the demonic

Okay, he died in 1979, and those mysterious priests was the last book that came out in his lifetime. His autobiography came out 1980, the year after he died.

So where is this book?
