What's up everyone? Welcome back to the show. Today we are talking about a

house plant, a tropical house plant. I was at the Balboa Park Botanical

Gardens, which is a very large park here in San Diego.

Actually, I think it has more square footage than Central Park.

It's just split up into a bunch of different properties and areas and sections,

so it's not quite one continuous park experience.

But the botanical gardens are absolutely amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing.

So on Friday, last Friday I took my camera out there to take some photos and just kind of enjoy it.

And I saw one of my favorite plants, which would be the Bird's Nest Fern.

And you know, these are grown as house plantsants all the time but the ones they have in the

botanical garden are huge absolutely massive ones that you probably aren't going to get to that

size if you're growing them in your house

certainly inside your house you might be able to get them to that size outside the house

but they're a beautiful plant and for a lot of people who grow ferns and

and struggle growing ferns, the bird's nest fern I find is a pretty good

fern for someone who typically kills other ferns, right? And I've struggled with ferns, certainly, in the past.
