Welcome to the show everybody I want to apologize for my guests audio on on this one I was hearing

some things I ran a test I listened back to a little test sample it sounded fine and then whatever

happened when we recorded it's just not up to the standard I'd like it to be it's still it's a

great episode in fact I've been talking about this episode two bunch of different friends I was I was

just hanging out with a with a couple friends just last night like a week after I recorded this or

so and was sharing some fun bio mimicry facts super interesting subject matter fantastic guest it's

so unfortunate you know doing these things remotely you guys you guys know the deal but I know

that I'm not just I'm constantly making improvements so just to give you an idea of where where I'm at

one your patreon support helps a lot this is a small show I don't have celebrity guests on and

stuff you know the world isn't as into science as you listeners are this shows never going to be

like the top science podcaster this or that you know I go through academia getting all these

random guests and we get to hear about so many different cool areas of research from the people

that actually do it and just normal folks with academic jobs doing great science and so your

support makes a huge difference I have a very very very small budget you can see it on patreon

it's public and so your contribution matters a lot because so the main big plan and I'll tell you

kind of some of the stopgaps to hopefully improve things between now and then is I have a few

different things a few different like bigger projects that I'm sorting out and since since summers

rolled around and people started getting vaccinated and everything and kind of plotting out my next

move and various other projects that hopefully I'll get to tell you about sometime soon when a

little more is known but I kind of don't have a clear picture of where I'm going to be in the fall

or winter just yet but wherever I land up I'm kind of trying to tour less than I was before COVID
