It is the second episode in a row that was co-written by the creators Brian Copleman and David Levine.

As I mentioned last week, that's usually a little bit of a tip that whatever we're about to get is pretty important in the course of the season.

And in my humble estimation, this was a pretty big episode for turning the gears of plot.

Last week, they obviously cleared the board of what we thought was the biggest conflict of the season,

which was Axis trial.

And then this season, or this episode, we get a lot more board clearing on Chuck's end, set up for the rest of the season on Axis end, but they're still in the process of changing gears and

moving into a different phase of the season.
