Do we have a total yet?

No, but I did read that the early voting is almost doubled what it was last year at this time.

I'm shocked it's not more, aren't you?

Yeah, maybe I'm reading that wrong.

It's got to be more. It has to be.

You've already voted, correct? I have. I did after our last show last week. Yeah. And you know,

I wanted to talk to you about that because I went with my son, Michael, and I said, this isn't your first election, is it? And he said, it is. And I was kind of surprised

because he's 21, but he has a late birthday. So he only voted in the primary last time.

Oh.

This was his first election. Oh. And we went early. So we went to the Brookfield Village Hall. And my old stomping

ground, I am, of course, the Queen of Brookfield. Self-proclaimed, but still, that holds up in court.

Whatever. You don't have to add that. And so the minute we parked our car, I saw an explosion of light over the village hall. And I said, that's weird. And at that moment, the skies opened up and it started pouring. So we had to wait outside. We went, the polls closed at six. We went at about 610. And there were only

about 15 people in line. So it wasn't too bad. And we're both standing there outside, six

feet apart from the people in front of us and behind us. And Michael's wearing a mask and I'm wearing a

mask. And I said, oh my God, you are going to remember your first time voting forever.

Yep. And he's like, well, do you remember you? Did he feel proud? Did he feel patriotic and proud?

Oh, absolutely. He's been so excited to vote. And Dylan, my younger son, is going to be 18 December 13th. So he just missed it by like a month. Well, you always remember the first time you vote. And of course, you always remember the first time you have sex. And for some, like myself, lucky enough to get them both done on the same time, the same time. It's a magical day. Okay. But that's what I want.

Those booths used to be way more private, by the way, way more private.

I can remember going, like as a kid, I remember going with my mom to vote and her going in the booth, just leaving me alone in the room full of strangers and she'd go in the booth for what seemed to be all afternoon. I know it couldn't have been, but, you know, you would just stand there and look around. There's nothing you could do because you're nine. And, you know, it's the American way. I remember going with my mom, too, and parents never said who they voted for. I mean, you know, and again,

I guess when I was that age, I didn't ask my mom. I guess I didn't even really care.
