And it was so good that I can't watch other cop shows because I still feel like I'm cheating on Hill Street Blues. If another cop show comes out, I'm like, ah, it's no Hill Street Blues. But back then, this is how television has changed over the years. Back then, every once in a while, a major character on the show would get killed, and you didn't know it was coming. Like now, you see special, you know, you'll be watching entertainment tonight or access Hollywood, and they'll go, after three seasons on the show, he decided to leave, and his character will be rubbed out soon, you know, and you go, oh, I know he's going to die. But back then, when a character died, it took you by storm.
